Dr. Kris Kubinski
Senior Educational Administrator
‘Dr. Kris’ has more than 25 years of higher education experience in four countries. He holds multiple post-graduate qualifications from top universities including a Masters and Doctorate in Education. Dr. Kris has worked for a number of public and private colleges and Universities. He is a BC Ministry of Advanced Education subject matter expert and a past College Vice president. Not least, he has many years of classroom teaching, which he really enjoys.
Dr. Kris ensures that students receive a high quality education and are supported at every step of their studies. Dr. Kris can be found working hard around the office. You will also see him dropping by the classrooms or having coffee with students and staff.

The Capital College Director of Public Relations, Mr. Jonathan graduated from University of Toronto with degrees in Physics and Philosophy. He manages the web site and represents the college in public relations.

Ms Anne is responsible for communicating with the students at our Coquitlam Campus.
Candiss Arline Brown
Ms. Candiss received ECE, Infant and Toddler Diploma from Mount Royal University, Calgary in June 1989. She has had an AMS Credential in Infant and Toddler Level since February 2009 and holds a current Early Childhood Educator and Infant/Toddler Educator License to Practice in B.C. She has 25 years of professional experience working with young children.
Ms. Catherine received her Master degree in Science from University of British Columbia. She holds a license to practice as an Early Childhood Educator and Montessori Credential from American Montessori Society. She has worked in this field since 2010 with experience in Montessori and play based child care centers. She also has experience teaching adults at University of British Columbia. In addition, she works as a practicum supervisor and field consultant of Capital College. She is a member of the American Montessori Society (AMS).
Dr. Darla Miller
Dr. Darla Ferris Miller, author of Positive Child Guidance, holds a doctorate in early childhood education, Texas and Mississippi teaching credentials, and the American Montessori Society Early Childhood Certification. She was a vice president, a division chair, and an associate professor at North Harris College. Dr. Miller has also served in a wide range of roles within the field of child care and development. She has been caregiver, early childhood teacher, center director, teacher trainer, and consultant, and she has worked with children from infancy to middle school.
Ms. Diana received her ECE training from Kwantlen University College (the current Kwantlen Polytechnic University) and has a License to Practice as an Early Childhood Educator. Ms. Diana received her M.A in Romania and Israel, a Child Psychology Diploma from Stratford Career Institute, a Pre-School & Kindergarten Teacher Diploma from North American Progressive Montessori Teacher Training Centre, and a Provincial Instructor Diploma from Vancouver Community College and is currently working on achieving her M.Ed. from UBC. She has more than 45 years of work and management experience in the education field and has been an owner of a childcare centre, early childhood educator, instructor and practicum facilitator in various schools. She is a member of the Early Childhood Educators of British Columbia (ECEBC).
Ms. Erica received her M.Ed from University of Atlanta in U.S.A. She received her Montessori Credential from AMI, holds AMS Credential in Infant and Toddler Level and a current Early Childhood Educator’s license to practice in B.C. Ms. Erica has more than 11 years of teaching experiences teaching in different languages. She is the owner of the In-Joy Montessori Children’s Centre in Burnaby.
Ms. Joanne has her Montessori Early Childhood (3-6), Montessori Elementary I & II trainings from St. Nicholas Training Centre and the ECE License of BC. She is the administrator and classroom directress of the former Fraser Valley Montessori School and has been in the field for over 30 years. She is a member of BCMA and AMS.
Joyce Chien-Ying Chao
Ms. Joyce received her Basic ECE with Infant Toddler and Special Needs training from Vancouver Community College. She has an AMS Credential in Early Childhood level and Infant and Toddler Level and holds a current Early Childhood Educator license, Infant and Toddler Educator License, and Special Needs Educator License to Practice in B.C. She has 10 years of professional experience working with children.
Ms. Kam hold an ECE diploma from Toronto, she has graduated with BA in humanities from York university and received Masters in elementary education from New York. Kamlesh has ECE and special needs license to practice, she also has over 8 years of experience working in various type of child care centers that shares different philosophies. In addition, she is an active member of ECE association. She has been teaching at Capital college since 2014, she enjoyed working with adult learners and she always looks forward to meeting new students every year.
Ms. Linda received a BA degree in English Literature from University of Toronto and Montessori credential in Early Childhood from Pan American Montessori Society and the Early Childhood Educator’s License of BC. She is the founder, teacher and administrator of the former Richmond Montessori Children’s House. She is a member of the British Columbia Montessori Association (BCMA) and the American Montessori Society (AMS).
Ms. Margie received her ECE training at Northern Lights College and Montessori training from St. Nicholas, and her Montessori diploma from Western Montessori Teacher’s College. Ms. Lal has also taken further study in Montessori elementary level at Western Montessori in 2004. She has more than 15 years of working in the field of Early Childhood education as owner, administrator and directress. She was the instructor of Vancouver ECE & Montessori College and the practicum supervisor for various colleges. She has also been one of the board members in British Columbia Montessori Association from 2004 to 2007. She is currently the owner and the administrator of Burkeview Montessori Children’s Centre in Port Coquitlam. She is a member of British Columbia Montessori Association (BCMA) and American Montessori Society (AMS).
Ms. Pushpa has a BA degree in English from Ranchi University in India, Montessori Early Childhood training from Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) and the ECE License of B.C. She has worked as an Early Childhood educator in various childcare centres for more than 12 years. She is a member of British Columbia Montessori Association (BCMA) and American Montessori Society (AMS).
Ms. Tara has her Montessori Early Childhood (3-6) with Capital College and B.C. ECE licenses in both early childhood level and infant and toddler level. Ms. Tara also a certified Orton-Gillingham teacher. She has more than 10 years working in the early childhood field in various schools including Montessori and Reggio Emilia-centred daycares. She is a member of American Montessori Society (AMS)
Ms. Wanda received her certificate for ECE from Capilano College and montessori Assistant training from AMI Training Centre. She has more than 11 years of working experience as an early childhood educator in various childcare centres.
